Om. Salutations to You, O Lord of the Ganas.
唵,我们向左部群仙之主礼敬

Twameva pratyaksham tattwam-asi.
You are the Manifestation of the Divine Principle
你真真正正是太初的神圣原理
Twameva kevalam kartā-si.
You alone are the Doer.
只有你才是真正的做事者(创造者)
Twameva kevalam dhartā-si.
You alone are the Supporter and the Sustainer.
你才是世界唯一的支持和守护者
Twameva kevalam hartā-si.
You alone are the Remover and Destroyer.
你才是一切的去除者和毁灭者
Twameva sarvam khalv-idam Brahmāsi.
You are everything even indeed the Formless Spirit
你确实是大梵(Brahma即无所不在的上天力量, 无形相的灵)
Twam sākshād-ātmāsi nityam.
You are the Embodiment of the Soul eternally (1)
你真真正正是永恒真我的化身

Ritam-vachmi. Satyam-vachmi.
I speak Divine Law. I speak the Truth. (2)
我将说话简洁且无谬误, 只说真理
Ava Twam Mām.
Protect thou me.
请保护我
Ava Vaktāram. Ava Shrotāram.
Be propitious to the speaker and the listener.
请保佑那些念颂你名号的人, 保佑那些聆听的人
Ava Dātāram. Ava Dhātāram.
Watch over the one who gives and the recieiver.
请保佑那些把你的知识传扬的人, 请保佑那些接受你知识的人
Avān-ūchānam-ava Shishyam.
Show favour to the learned scholar and the pupil.
请保佑导师, 保佑学生
Ava Paschāt-tāt. Ava Puras-tāt.
Protect from behind. Protect from the front.
从西面保护我, 从东面保护我
Av-ottarāt-tāt. Ava dakshināt-tāt.
Protect from the left side. Protect from the right side.
从南面保护我, 从北面保护我
Ava-chordhvāt-tāt Av-ādharāt-tāt.
Protect from above. Protect from below.
在上方保护我,案在下方保护我,
Sarvato-mām pāhi-pāhi Samantāt.
From all directions guard and protect me constantly (3)
请从四面八方保佑我

You are the Spoken Word and Pure Consciousness.
你是所有言论文献的精髓, 你存于意识之中
Twam ānanda-mayas
Joy is Your essence.
你就是喜乐
Twam Brahma-mayah.
Formless Spirit is Your Nature.
你就是大梵
Twam sach-chid-ānand-ādvitīyō-si.
You are Existence, Consciousness and Joy unequalled.
你是绝对的真理(Sat)意识(Chit)喜乐(Ananada)
Twam pratyaksham Brahmāsi.
You are the Supreme Spirit manifested.
你是大梵的显现
Twam gyāna-mayo vigyāna-mayōsi.
You are all Knowledge and Understanding. (4)
你是所有色知识, 至高的知识

Sarvam Jagadidam twatto jāyate.
This whole world is born from You.
整个世界由你而生
Sarvam Jagadidam twattas-tishhati.
This whole world is sustained by You.
整个世界由你来支持
Sarvam Jagadidam twayi layam-eshyati.
This whole world will dissolve in You.
在你之内终结
Sarvam Jagadidam twayi pratyeti.
This whole world returns to You.
你体现了整个宇宙的创造
Twam bhūmir āpō-nalō-nilo nabhah
You are Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether (5 elements)
你是地,水,空气,火和以太

Twam Chatvāri vāk-padāni.
You are the four parts of speech. (5)

Twam Guna tray-ātītaha.
You are beyond the three attributes
你超越三德(萨埵,刺, 答摩三个guna属性)
Twam Deha tray-ātītaha.
You are beyond the three bodies.
你超越身体的三个状态
Twam Kāla tray-ātītaha.
You are beyond the three times.
你超越(现在,未来,过去)三时
Twam Mūlādhāra sthitō-si nityam.
You are eternally stationed at Mooladhara Chakra.
你存在于根轮之中
Twam Shakti tray-ātmakaha.
You are the Essence of the three Shaktis.
你存在于(摩诃拉希什米, 摩诃莎纬德丽, 摩诃迦利)三个力量之中(是它们的精髓)
Twām Yogino dhyāyanti nityam.
On You Yogis meditate constantly.
瑜伽修习者经常对你作静坐冥想

Twam Brahmā twam Vishnus.
You are Lord Brahma. You are Shri Vishnu .
你是(宇宙创造者)梵天婆罗摩, 你是(宇宙持守者)毗湿奴
Twam Rudras Twam Indras
You are Lord Shiva. You are Shri Indra.
你是(宇宙的毁灭者)湿婆神, 你是天界之主因陀罗
Twam Agnis Twam Vayus
You are the God of Fire, You are Lord of the Wind.
你是火神阿耆尼, 你是风神筏由
Twam Sooryas Twam Chandramas
You are the Sun and You are the Moon.
你是日(日神稣里耶), 你是月(月神金德拉/旃陀罗)
Twam Brahma-bhūr-bhuvaha swarom.
Supreme Spirit, Earth, Sky, Heaven and Omkāra (6)
以及天,地,空三界(Loka)和唵字((Omkara)

Ganādim pūrvam uchchārya.
Saying Gana’s first letter (G) at the beginning,
首先说出Gana这个字的第一个辅音(G)
Varnādim tad-anantaram.
The first letter of the alphabet (A) next.
然后是字母表的第一个字母(A)一个母音
Anu-swāraha para-taraha.
And the nasal sound (M) after that.
然后是鼻音(M)
Ardhendu lasitam. Tārena riddham.
The crescent resounding, completed with the Om.
两个音相连成一体, 连同(OM)

Etat-tava manu-swa-rūpam.
This is the true form of Your mantra.
就是你的口诀的真正形壮
Gakāraha pūrva-rūpam.
'G’ is the first form.
”G”是第一个形状
Akāro madhyama rūpam
'A' is the middle form.
”A”只中间的形状
Anuswārah chāntya rūpam.
And 'M' is the last form
”M”是最后的形状(M即Manusvara)以新月来点缀,
Bindur uttara rūpam.
Bindu (dot) is the finishing form on top,
以Bindu(吉祥痣)的那一点作结

Nādaha samdhānam. Samhitā sandhihi.
With the sounds united according to Sandhi.
鼻音把口诀的元素整合,要一气呵成的读出, 以确保完全整合
Saishā Ganeha-vidyā.
In this manner, is the knowledge of Shri Ganesha.
这是Ganesha的知识
Ganaka rishihi.
The seer is sage Ganaka.
把这口诀记载的是仙人(Ganaka)伽纳卡
Nichrid gāyatrīch chhandaha.
The metre is a mixed Gāyatrī.
伽耶德利(女神)是这颂辞的格律(形相Chanda)
Ganapatir devatā.
The presiding Deity is Shri Ganapati.
Ganapati(格纳帕蒂,即Ganesha)就是受到礼拜的神明

Om Gam Ganapataye namaha.
'Om Gam', obeisance to the Lord of the Ganas. (7)
(“ 'Om Gam')要向伽蓝仙众之长礼敬
Eka-dantāya vidmahe.
We have the knowledge of the One-Tusked God,
我们希望得到只有一齿的神的知识
Vakra-tundāya dhī-mahi.
We meditate on the Lord with a Curved Trunk ,
我们要对其有完全象鼻的神作冥想
Tanno dantī prachodayāt.
May the God with a tusk inspire and stimulate us. (8)
愿他启发我们的智慧

Eka-dantam chatur-hastam
One-tusked and four-handed
他有一齿,四臂
Pāham akuha dhārinam.
Wielder of the noose and elephant goad.
一手拿着绳索,一手站杖
Radam cha varadam hastair bibhrānam
Holding a broken tusk and all blessings in the hands
一手向下拿着断下的一齿,一手伸出赐福
Mūshaka-dhvajam
Having a mouse as an emblem.
他一小鼠为坐骑
Raktam, lambodaram
Red-coloured, with a big belly,
他的皮服是红色的, 肚子很大
Shūrpa karnakam, rakta vāsasam.
Ears like winnowing fans and clothed in red.
两耳象蒲扇,他身穿红服
Rakta gandh-ānu-liptāngam
With fragrant red sandalwood paste anointing the body.
用红色的香膏涂谝全身
Rakta pushpaihi su-pūjitam.
Auspiciously worshipped with red flowers.
人们要以红花来崇拜他
Bhakt-ānu-kampinam devam
The God who is Compassionate to devotees,
他对信众充满慈爱
Jagat-kāranam achyutam.
The Imperishable Origin of the world,
他是世界的不朽之源
Avir-bhūtam cha srishty-ādau
And becoming manifest at the beginning of creation.
他在创世之前以显现
Prakritehe purushāt param.
Being beyond the di Shakti and the Supreme Spirit.
他超越原始的物资与原人
Evam dhyāyati yo nityam.
Whoever meditates in this way constantly,
谁向他作冥想者
Sa yogī yoginām varaha.
That Yogi becomes the most excellent of Yogis. (9)
便是所有瑜伽修习者中最伟大的

NamoVrāta-pataye. Namo Ganapataye.
We bow to the Lord of Assemblies and Chief of Ganas
让我们向群仙之主礼拜,让我们向左部群仙(伽蓝)之主礼拜
Namaha *pramaha-pataye.
Prostrations to the Leader of Lord Shiva’s hordes,
让我们向湿婆神部下大军之主礼拜
Namastē-stu lambodarāya-eka-dantāya,
Let there be obeisance to the Big-bellied, One-toothed
让我们向大腹之神,一齿之神礼拜
Vighna nāhine, Shiva sutāya,
Destroyer of Obstacles, the Son of Lord Shiva
障碍的去除者, 湿婆神之子Ganesha礼拜
Śhrī varada mūrtaye namo namaha.
To the Embodiment of the Giver of prosperity and boons, Salutation s again and again. (10)
要向令本领(Boom)及一切愿望及一切愿望得以达成的赐予者一再礼拜
